My partner and I have stayed here twice now, once in September and most recently in January. The January stay was (predictably) a rather cold experience. There is AC in the living room, as well as a fireplace. We slept in the larger bedroom, where there is an electric heater mounted on the wall. It was confusing and difficult to operate so we ended up having to have it on at full blast or entirely off, which meant we'd wake up at night to turn it either on or off. The bathroom was uncomfortably cold and the heater in there didn't seem to work. Additionally the shower is very small and it's impossible not to get the entire bathroom floor wet when showering and the squeegee does very little to get rid of the water, which gets very cold due to the lack of heating in the bathroom. The kitchen has everything you'd need for cooking most things! We've cooked most of our breakfast, lunch, and dinners in the house and have had no major issues. The WiFi was unpredictable and would disconnect at random, which made it difficult to stream movies in the evening.
The area is very peaceful, the views are beautiful, and the sounds of cattle, sheep, and wild birds create a very wholesome atmosphere. The beach is very lovely, and only a 5-ish minute walk from the house.
Overall we're happy with what we got for the price we paid. A third visit is certainly not off of the table!
